Clear Verify by HRlogics
Employment and income verifications, handled.
Verification requests arrive whether or not your team has time for them. Clear Verify takes them off HR’s desk — every requestor credentialed before any data moves, every response built from your own payroll records, and no cost to you.

Why teams need help
Doing verifications in-house costs more than anyone budgets for.
A verification request looks small. Someone in HR reads the email, works out whether the person asking is entitled to the answer, digs up the current pay data, writes the response, and files it somewhere. Then the next one arrives.
Volume is what breaks it. Lending season, a growth year, a seasonal hiring cycle — the requests scale and the HR team does not. Meanwhile the employee waiting on a mortgage approval has no idea where their request is, and neither does anyone else.
And the request that should worry you most is the one your team answered quickly, for someone who was never entitled to ask.
- 3–10 days per request. That is how long employees wait for a verification to come back from an internal HR process.
- 15+ minutes of HR time, per request. The average an HR department spends on a single employment or income verification.
- Answers built from stale records. A response is only as current as the last time somebody checked the file, and nothing flags it when the underlying data has moved on.
- No audit trail. Nothing that shows who asked, who answered, or what was sent.
- Data security concerns and offshore exposure. Sensitive employee data handled by people and systems you cannot see.
What you get
Three numbers that describe the whole service.
0
Third-party data sources
People tend to reread this number. Some verification services enrich or supplement employer-supplied data with information gathered elsewhere — ours doesn’t. Every answer a verifier receives about your employee comes out of the payroll file you uploaded, and nothing else.
- 100%
- Requestor validationEvery verifier is credentialed before any data is released. No exceptions and no fast lane.
- 15+ min
- Saved per requestHR time returned on every verification handled for you.
Clear Process
From payroll file to answered request.
Clear Verify is delivered as a full service. The platform controls who can see what; our specialists do the day-to-day work of receiving, checking, and answering requests. Your data stays yours, your disclosure rules stay in force, and your team stops being a help desk.
- 1
You upload payroll data
Your organization sends payroll and employment data into Clear Verify. Mapping is a one-time job done during implementation, not something your team repeats every cycle. Uploads can be automated — nobody should be doing this by hand.
- 2
Requests come to us, and get checked
Verifiers contact HRlogics instead of your internal team. We confirm credentials and confirm the request meets your authorization requirements before anything moves. Credentialing a new verifier usually takes a couple of hours, and up to 24 when it needs longer.
- 3
Specialists answer, using your data and your rules
Approved verifications are completed from the payroll data you provided, following the disclosure policies you set. Every location and every team gets the same treatment, because the same people are answering.
- 4
Employees can see it happened
Employees can view the verification history attached to their own information, including who asked. That holds true even when HRlogics is the one answering.
Two ways a verification gets completed
Once your data is in the platform, a verification can start from either end.
The verifier asks
A verifier submits a request to pull the employee’s data. Depending on the settings you configure, or on what the employee’s state requires, the employee is given the choice to grant or deny release of their data to that verifier.
The employee sends
Using My Verify, the employee sends the verification to the verifier themselves, and can download standard employment forms such as a work letter without involving anyone else.
How it is delivered
We run it. That is the service.
There is no version of this where your team logs in and works a queue. Verification requests come to HRlogics, our specialists handle them, and the answers go out under the disclosure rules you set.
What stays on your side is small, and it stays yours: accurate payroll and employment data, and the rules for what may be shared. Intake, credentialing, the follow-up, and the record of who asked and what was sent are ours.
That holds through a lending season, a growth year, or a book of client companies across multiple locations. The same specialists answer every request, so a heavy month does not change the answer anyone gets.
Who we help
Four groups touch a verification, and only one of them signs the contract.
An employer chooses a verification provider. But an employee’s mortgage depends on it, a lender’s file depends on it, and a PEO’s whole client book depends on it. A service that only works for the person signing the contract is a service that generates complaints.
For employers
Less overhead, less risk, and your oversight intact.
- $0 cost. No setup fees, no monthly subscription, no integration charges. Free for employers from day one.
- Days to minutes. Verifications that took 3–10 days come back in minutes once a requestor is credentialed and the request approved.
- Audit-ready by default. Every request encrypted, logged, and retrievable with full version control.
- Credentialed access only. Every verifier completes credentialing before they can make a request. No open door.
- Both request routes supported. Employee-initiated and verifier-initiated, with your team out of the back-and-forth.
- US-based support. The entire Client Success team is based in the United States, and answers the phone.
For employees
Their data, their visibility, and a mortgage that does not wait on an inbox.
- My Verify. Employees send their own verifications — for a loan, a lease, a work letter — without asking HR first.
- See what is happening. Track request status, see who is asking, download reports at any time.
- My Data. Review the employment data held by current and previous employers, and confirm it is right before anyone else needs it.
- Dispute what is wrong. Flag an incorrect record; the employer is notified and the record is reviewed.
- Works on a phone. Web-based and mobile-ready, so a verification is not held up waiting for a desktop.
- Their data is not for sale. Released only to credentialed, authorized requestors, for a permissible purpose.
For verifiers
Faster answers for legitimate requestors, and only legitimate requestors.
- Credentialing first. Every verifier is reviewed before gaining access — typically a couple of hours, up to 24 when needed.
- Then it is instant. Once approved and authorized, data is delivered without waiting on an HR callback.
- A Verification Inbox. Status updates, downloadable reports, and re-verification requests in one place.
- Two ways in. The employee sends the data, or approves the verifier's request.
- Government and social-service requests are free of charge. Commercial verifiers get a payment portal in their account settings.
For PEOs
One login, every client, kept apart.
- One platform, all clients. See requests for your whole book from a single login, each client group kept separate.
- One file upload. One scheduled payroll file containing all client data, routed to the right client automatically.
- Client-level control. Each client's data stays segmented, so disclosure rules apply per company.
- Reporting at every tier. PEO users see across clients; employers see their own employees; employees see their own data.
- Fits what you already run. HRlogics offers API and SFTP connections for PrismHR, isolved, Vensure, and in-house systems.
Employees no longer have to wait on HR to prove where they work.
Integrity-first
We do not sell your employees’ data.
Employment and income data is valuable, and in this industry that has created a business model where the verification service is the front door and the data is the product. Clear Verify runs on a different model.
Verification here is an employee-relations function. Employment data is shared when authorized access has been granted, for the purpose it was requested for, and not otherwise. Before any data goes to a requestor, we verify who they are and confirm they are authorized to receive it.
Employees can see all of it. Verification results, verifier credentials, and verification reports are available to the employee to view and download whenever they want.
And nothing is offshored. The Client Success team handling this data is based in the United States.
Zero third-party data sources. Responses use your current payroll records only.
Clear Accountability
Credentialing is the control that matters.
Most verification risk is not exotic. It is releasing real data to someone who was not entitled to ask. Which is why credentialing sits in front of everything else: every requestor is validated before any data is released, every time. That is a deliberate piece of friction and it is not removable.
- 100% requestor validation
- Every verifier credentialed before data is released.
- SOC 2 Type II
- Independently audited controls for security, confidentiality, and availability.
- Privacy and permissible purpose
- Requestor identity and authorization are checked before any release. The terms of service set out the verifier's obligations under the FCRA, and the privacy policy explains the rights California residents hold under the CCPA — California state law, not a federal statute.
- Multi-factor authentication
- The platform encourages MFA and offers additional account security features.
- Audit trails
- Every action logged and traceable. File audit trails show who uploaded, when, and what changed between uploads.
- No sale, no repurposing
- Employee data is not sold, resold, or repurposed. It is released only to credentialed, authorized requestors, for a permissible purpose — which is the service, not an exception to it.
Clear Pricing
It costs employers nothing. Here is why that is possible.
No setup fees. No monthly subscription. No integration charges. Free for employers from day one — that is not an introductory rate or a headcount tier, it is the price.
The reason it works: someone else pays. Commercial verifiers — lenders, background screeners, service providers — pay a per-transaction fee for employment and wage data, submitted through a payment portal in their account. That fee funds the service. Government and social-service verification requests are free of charge to the requesting agency and remain free to you.
So the catch, such as it is, is worth stating plainly: someone pays, and it is the commercial verifier who needs the answer. What you are not paying with is your employees’ data. There is no arrangement here where free access is subsidised by selling, repurposing, or enriching employee records.
What clear experts say
In their words.
What stands out about their system is user-friendly interface, exceptional ease of use, but above all is the efficiency gain. Their system has significantly reduced the time required for our regular processes. What used to take considerable effort now flows smoothly. This time savings has been immediately noticeable and highly valued by our team.
Employment and income verifications are crucial for HR departments, but they often struggle with completing requests and understanding the associated liability. Clear Verify is a cutting-edge verification platform that provides transparency in data utilization. It streamlines the workflow for employers, employees, and verifiers, allowing proactive verification submissions and ensuring a quick and secure process.
Questions we get
Frequently asked
Who actually handles our verification requests?
HRlogics does. Clear Verify is delivered as a full service: we receive the requests, validate the requestor, and respond using the payroll data you provide — so HR is not monitoring an inbox or managing the workload. You keep ownership of the employee data, and you set the disclosure rules.
What does my team still have to do?
Upload accurate payroll and employment data, and define what may and may not be shared. We handle the request traffic.
Do we have to upload payroll data by hand?
No. Automated file uploads are set up during implementation, and data mapping is a one-time task.
How do you know a requestor is legitimate?
Every request goes through a credential and authorization check. We verify the requestor's identity and confirm they are authorized before releasing anything. Only approved verifiers receive information. New verifier credentialing usually takes a couple of hours, and up to 24 when a review runs long.
Do you handle government verifications as well as commercial ones?
Yes — federal and state agencies as well as credentialed commercial verifiers such as lenders, background screeners, and service providers. Social-service and government-assistance requests are free of charge.
Is employee data safe?
Clear Verify is encrypted and access-controlled throughout. Employee data is not sold or repurposed, and it is released only to credentialed, authorized requestors for a permissible purpose. The terms of service set out the verifier's obligations under the FCRA, and the privacy policy explains the rights California residents hold under the CCPA.
Do employees have to sign up?
No. If their employer uses Clear Verify, verifications get completed without the employee creating an account. Signing up gives them the visibility and self-service features — sending their own verifications, tracking status, reviewing and disputing their data.
How fast can we start?
As soon as payroll data is uploaded. Most organizations transition within days.
No fees. No reselling. Full transparency.
